NYC-based cellist Kirsten Jermé performs a concert of works for solo cello and cello plus additional sound component at The White Room on Sunday, March 10th.

The program features Shirish Korde's Anusvara ("After Sound") for solo cello with tanpura drone, J.S. Bach's Suite No. 4 in E-flat Major for Unaccompanied Violoncello, Nathalie Joachim's Dam Mwen Yo for cello and recorded voices, and Gity Razaz's Legend of Sigh for solo cello and fixed electronics, including pre-recorded cello by Inbal Segev.

An active performer and educator in New York, Kirsten is currently a D.M.A. candidate at the CUNY Graduate Center, where she worked with Marcy Rosen. For more information, please visit www.kirstenjermecello.com/about.
