Internationally recognized as a leading instrumentalist, Sitar Maestro PARTHA BOSE continues his musical journey beyond 5 decades of training under Maihar Gharana Guru Pandit Monoj Shankar.
Performances in major festivals across 5 continents, lecdems & workshops at reputed universities, distinguish his presence in the global cultural arena. International media - including BBC, Voice of America, Canadian Broadcasting Corporation, German Radio, Voice of Russia, Indian Radio & Television - have featured Bose in interviews & performances.
Tabla Legend Pandit Kishen Maharaj acknowledged his virtuosity by accompanying him in a historic concert in Kolkata in 2006. Recipient of NIKHIL BANERJEE MEMORIAL AWARD, BANGA GOURAB AWARD & titles of SANGEET RATNA & VADYA SHIROMANI, Partha Bose was invited by the Government of India to lead a cultural delegation to represent the country in the Golden Jubilee celebrations of Independence in Africa.
Having entered the 6th decade of his life, after years of performances, accolades, worldwide travel, Pandit Partha Bose holds on to a realisation - that, in Music, there's a lesson to be learnt every day.

Intensive training since the age of 5 under eminent masters including uncle MONTU MALLICK, Prof DHABOL BANDYOPADHYAY, Shri UTTAM CHAKRABORTY and currently, Living Legend Pandit SWAPAN CHAUDHURI has shaped INDRANIL's rich repertoire and contributed to his reputation in the national & international arena.
INDRANIL has also distinguished himself in cross-over collaborations with western musicians including a recent project with Miles Davis Electric Band.
INDIAN RADIO & TELEVISION have awarded INDRANIL "A GRADE " together with distinguished musicians of India.
