ANCESTRAL FASHION: a Day of the Dead inspired celebration

On this Day of the Dead, Wednesday Nov 2, 6-9 pm, we host a special celebration where we honor our ancestors by "remembering our memory" and also by (if possible) wearing an article of clothing, an accessory or complete outfit in the cultural tradition of your ancestors, or in the style of, or was passed down by, a beloved family member or friend...

Free and open to the public, hors d'oeuvres, cash bar.

Program:

6:00 pm: Art installation viewing: Recuerda La Memoria by José Criollo / @josecriolloarte and Germán Chiriboga / @gerchiristein.

7:00 pm: The SIA Jazz Quartet (1st set)

The SIA Jazz Quartet will be performing works from the American song book as well as Latin American classics.

7:40 pm: A spoken word performance by Bruja the Villain / @brujathevillain followed by a "Toast to the Ancestors"

8:00 pm: The SIA Jazz Quartet (2nd set)
